This color combination reflects the personal taste of Alberto, founder of PALU, who affectionately refers to it as “la mia,” meaning “mine” in Italian, from which the name LAMIA originates.
His favorite color, a shimmering tiffany blue, is applied to the fin beneath the seat tube, paired with a sky blue on the frame. The fork features a handmade “crumb” effect: the same blue paint as the frame is applied to a separate surface, left to dry, then fragmented by hand and applied to the still-wet black base, merging into the underlying paint while retaining its captivating abstract imperfection. The fork is then finished with a ceramic-coated finish, sealing every detail and creating an elegant, distinctive contrast with the glossy finish of the frame.
